Questions

Straight answers
about adopting AI.

The questions we are asked most often, answered without the hedging.

01
Where should a business start with AI?
With a specific problem rather than a tool. The most reliable starting point is a process that is repetitive, well understood, and owned by someone who can maintain the solution. Our free consultation is designed to identify that starting point in about thirty minutes.
02
Do we need technical staff to work with you?
No. Most of our clients have no internal technology function. We handle the technical work and focus on making sure your team can use and maintain what we put in place.
03
How long does an AI adoption project take?
It depends on scope, but a first useful outcome is usually weeks rather than months. We deliberately sequence work so that something reaches production early, because internal evidence is what makes the next decision easier.
04
What does it cost?
We do not publish fixed packages, because the right scope is not knowable before we understand your processes and systems. We provide a clear proposal after the initial discovery conversation, and there is no charge for that conversation.
05
What if AI is not the right answer for our problem?
Then we say so. A meaningful share of the value we provide is identifying that a process change, a fixed integration or better information ownership would solve the problem more cheaply than any AI tool.
06
How do you handle data privacy and security?
We work within the rules that already govern your data, including client confidentiality terms and sector regulation. Knowledge systems mirror your existing permissions rather than flattening them, and we exclude personal, contractual and regulated material by default unless there is a specific approved reason not to.
07
Our team is sceptical about AI. Is that a problem?
It is normal and it is useful. Scepticism usually contains accurate information about what will go wrong. We treat it as an input to the plan rather than an obstacle, and change management is a core part of how we work for exactly that reason.
08
Do you provide training?
Yes. Training is delivered in the context of your team's real work rather than as a generic tool demonstration, and it is included in implementation engagements rather than sold separately.
